I Thessalonians 5: FAITHFUL TO FINISH

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” I Thessalonians 5:23-24

FAITHFUL TO FINISH

Sometimes we become discouraged with our spiritual progress. We see weaknesses, repeated mistakes, and areas of our lives that still need to change.

But these verses give us hope:
✨ God does not simply call us.
✨ He continuously works in us.

✅ GOD WANTS TO TRANSFORM US COMPLETELY
📌 Sanctification is the continuing work of God in our lives, shaping us to become more like Christ.
📌 God is concerned with our whole life, not just part of it.

❤️ Don't just ask God to change your circumstances. Allow Him to change you.

💭 What area of my life am I still resisting giving fully to God?

✅ GOD WANTS TO PRESERVE US
📌 Following Jesus is not only about starting well, but also about continuing faithfully.
📌 There will be temptations, disappointments, and distractions. We therefore need to stay close to God through prayer, His Word, obedience, and dependence on Him.

❤️ The God who saved us is able to sustain us.

💭 When you feel spiritually weak, don't run away from God. Run towards Him.

✅ GOD WANTS TO COMPLETE US
📌 God does not hand us a to-do-list and run away. The One who calls us is faithful.
📌 We still have a responsibility to obey and surrender, but we don't walk alone. When growth feels slow, we can continue trusting Him.

❤️ The God who calls us is the God who completes us.

💭 Instead of saying, “I can't change,” pray:“Lord, I surrender this area to You. Continue and complete Your work in me.”

Our spiritual journey may not always be easy, and we may not see immediate change.

But the God who begins our sanctification guarantees our completion.

✨ Don't give up.
✨ God is working.

🛐 Prayer
Lord, thank You for calling us to Yourself. Sanctify us completely and transform every area of our lives. Keep us faithful when we are tempted, discouraged, or distracted. Help us surrender what we cannot change by ourselves and trust You to continue and complete Your work in us. Thank You Lord that You are faithful. In Jesus name. Amen 🙏
