Faith that grows, Love that is boundless
2 Thessalonians 1: 3
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,
Paul was sincerely grateful to God for the church of thessalonians because their faith was not stagnant it kept growing despite the challenges and persecutions they faced. They continued trusting God even in difficult circumstances.Their love for one another continued to increase, they continued to love and support one another.
* Pero tayo we already know who Jesus Christ is, because He always reveal Himself sa atin in different situations sa araw araw...
>yet we still end up doubting Him because of fear or uncertainties that is happening in our life instead of growing closer to God we became distant to Him by doing things on our own.
> World says about love, peoples change...but the Lord teach us to love the unlovable bakit po, people see it and it is very encouraging po to see that believers love the way Jesus taught us.
Like the church of Thessalonica... our church is called to always stand firm in faith, obey Christ and live a life for one another.
• Instead of fear, trust and rest in His presence .
• when we face uncertainties, know He is with us
• obey and trust Him, though we dont understand the situation, but because we trust the One who leads us .
• love with no condition ,and serve like Jesus
• continue to encourage one another
• pray for one another
We came together as a church,we grow together in Christ, strengthen one another in faith, and allow His love to unite us.
Tayo pong lahat ay magpakalalim sa pananampalataya sa Panginoon at patuloy po tayong magmahal at kumalinga sa ating mga kapatiran.
Lets all reflect:
°What am I doing now, strengthen my faith?
°Does the way I love and serve others , encourage them to grow in faith?
°Does my love to others, reflects Christ in me?
° As my faith grows, does my love for others demonstrate the love of Christ?
We may be growing in faith daily but we still struggle to love or to show compassion to others just as Christ did.
Or
We may be followers of Christ who love others, but when trials come, we may find ourselves shattered and struggling to stand firm in our faith.
***A growing faith produces a life that reflects Gods love.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come before You
Thank You for always guiding us on how to be a church that carrys Your light.
Help us to live a life growing in faith rooted from Your Word. To love the way You loved us. May our walk be an encouraging light to others specially those who are weary.
In Jesus name,Amen 🙏🏼
All Glory to Jesus
