I Thessalonians 4: CALLED FOR A HOLY LIFE

“For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.”

I Thessalonians 4:7 NKJV

As believers, God has called us to live in holiness, not in sin. But how do we live a holy life? It means keeping our hearts right before God and living in a way that pleases Him. It means turning away from sin, including sexual immorality and anything that makes our hearts unclean before Him.

Let us examine our hearts today
Is there a habit, attitude, relationship, or hidden sin that we need to surrender to God?

Minsan, nasasanay na tayo sa isang kasalanan hanggang sa iniisip nating normal na lang ito. That is why we need to let Gods Word correct us, just as David prayed in Psalm 51:10, “Create in me a clean heart, O God.” Like David, let us be humble enough to admit our sins, repent, and allow God to change us.

Especially in these uncertain times here in Saudi with the situation around us, we are reminded that life is unpredictable. Hindi natin alam ang mangyayari bukas, kaya huwag nating balewalain ang relationship natin with God. Instead of living in fear, let us remain faithful and keep our hearts right before Him.

Holiness does not mean we are perfect,it means we are willing to repent, turn away from sin, and obey God.

Prayer:
May the Lord protect us, give us peace, and help us live holy lives that please Him, so that we may be ready when He comes. Amen
