A TRUE CHRISTIAN: A TRANSFORMED CHRISTIAN

The level of our relationship with God will dictate our transformation. We are always encouraged to live a changed life - a transformed life or a born again life.

As we meditate our reading for today, 1John 2 explained to us that the evidence of someone knowing God, and fellowship with Him is that he does keep His commandments. A simple, loving obedience is a natural result of fellowship with God.

If we truly have fellowship with Jesus, and we truly accepted Christ in our hearts- we will keep His commandments.

The truth of this is so certain that if one does not live a life marked by obedience, his claim to fellowship with God can be false.

On the other hand, when we keep His word, then the love of God is perfected in us. His love does not refer to our love for Him, but rather to His love for us. The thought is  that Yahweh's love toward us has been brought to its goal when we keep His word. It accomplishes its aim and reaches its end in producing obedience to Him.

God looks at the heart and knows everything about the intents of your heart… nothing is hidden. Praising with the mouth is not enough. Only those that truly know God love Him. This is why on the last day Jesus will say to many, ”depart from me for I never knew you”  it’s all about your relationship with Him.

LET US REFLECT:
We claim we love and know Jesus..... BUT

1. We dont have the desire to read His Scripture.
2. We run away from any equipping program.
3. We only love to come to the church and worship on Fridays.
4. We cannot sacrifice our comfort zones ( sleep, our habits etc.)
5. Our Lives are not Changed.

How intimate is our relationship with God? Because the deeper we love Him. the more we become hungry of His words, the more we seek.

Be true Christan... a transformed Christian.

‘Philippians 4 - ’LET IT BE KNOWN TO GOD’’

We are to REJOICE (Paul said it twice) and be GENTLE . The presence of these two is the absence of worry and vice versa.  If we know that...
